I'm pretty busy with our film at work so I try to relax as much as I can come the weekend. Last week I spent time with friends near Russian River and the last two days James and I traveled South to Big Sur, one of the most beautiful places we've been to.
This morning I painted these 2" by 3" little things to remember the big picture by.

Beautiful work, Daniela. I haven't been back to Big Sur in years (I used to live in Monterey). Judging by your sketches, the area seems to have recovered quite nicely from the firestorm a couple years ago.
Hope all is well! Been trying to get in some early bird paintings, but I'm way too rusty to post anything.
It's beautiful. Good to see you start posting again. Look forward to see what you've been doing at work.
Your paintings are just gorgeous Daniela. Truly beautiful.

Mmmm. Lovely brushwork!
Nice to see you're posting again Daniela. Hi to James too.
I accidentally got on your blog. These plein air paintings are emotionally beautiful!
Thanks a lot, Mike! I didn't see any trace of fire damage at all. It was really quite beautiful.
Thank you, Calvin! It's good to be back. I'm afraid work drawings will not be shown here for a long time, other than a few TS3 drawings I've done which you will be able to see in the art book.
Thanks a lot, Genevieve!
Thank you Galvinator!
Hi Bobby and Kei! Thank you both, and congrats on some awesome recent events! :)
