hahah. nice blog man, and you're right, "Up" does speak for itself! You must love working at Pixar, I think that's eveyones dream! Great work, I'lld ef be back for some inspiration!
Poor pig. At least he has 3 friends on the wall with him. Thanks, Ryan!
Hi, Made In China! I use a couple of different sketchbooks. My current favourite is called "Black Dot Sketchbook", from "William Stout Architectural Books" in San Francisco. The paper is very smooth and slightly yellower as you can see behind this pig. ;) (And it is indeed made in China.) I also use a bigger size clothbound Clairefontaine notebook (with smooth extra white paper). It's something like 9" x 12". Check them out!
I'm a Bulgarian-born, Canadian-raised artist, currently working as a Character Art Director at Pixar. I've contributed to Toy Story 3, Newt, Day and Night, La Luna, Monsters University and now something new.
Enjoy this blog!

Matt Ferguson!!! So nice to hear from you!
This is one of those times when you really love number one but you are even more fascinated by number two.
