Your blog has easily become one of my favorite subscriptions in the short time you've been running it. Your words and pictures go seamlessly hand in hand. Thanks for being a great inspiration. :)
this is such an animazing piece.. the color scheme is what grabs me the most, to me it seems like its colors chosen reflect the mood of the food and people if that makes any sense very very cool!
Thanks J. Sideways glances and very tight seating - but I think the energy of the room fueled the drawing in its own way. My "inaccurate" comment was meant for this post by the way...
Cheers Federico, glad you enjoy it!
Thanks Emma, you should try drawing chefs sometimes; they're so energetic!
That's funny, Enrico - it does look worrisome, doesn't it? Speaking of drinks, I was re-reading your Chronicles last night and I'm determined to try the Spritz! Perhaps I'll soon be sipping one while reading your book-to-be!
Thanks Anthony!
Hello Doodlers. Glad to see you, as always!
Hi Randeep, thanks. Maybe fast drawing prevented over-thinking and things came across... Just theorizing.
Thank you for the visit, Maria!
Bianca, thanks for your ongoing support!
Thanks a lot for the kind words C.G.!
Hi Mike. I'm very glad you're enjoying all this. I still have to come by Studio Gallery and check out the Early Bird originals...
Thanks Megabytesmouse, the scan is a tad more vibrant than the original gouache but I enjoyed the higher contrast and left it as is.
Nathan thanks! But nothing like your paintings...
Prashant, eloquent is quite the compliment. And so is your work! Thanks!
